My new classroom has been awhile getting finished but now we offer a class room, work room and my wife's work space in the far end. We have added all tools and equipment needed.
My new Skutt Kiln arrived in Feb of 2020 and in 8 months had fired 188 times. The tech at Skutt was very helpful, after going thru the controller he chuckled, I asked what he thought, he said I think that you don't count to good, (I had told him I fired about 50 loads), I had actually fired 188 loads. Skutt sent me a free set of elements. I keep a couple spare sets on hand now. They have come in handy.
It is like Christmas every time I open the kiln. Never know what to expect, this was a great load of pots.
Tis the season…..has been some time since I added to this blog. The show schedule is keeping me extra busy. We will soon be in Waterville for a two day show then back to Jonesboro for their Halloween Show, then the next two weekends we will be at the Bangor Mall Craft Show. Busy times, we will be in the Ellsworth Mall ( behind the MacDonalds) from Black Friday thru the 24th of December. There will be a plenty of opportunities for locl Maine folks to drop by for their Christmas shopping
